If anything ever could bring The Mars Volta to wide audience it would certainly be “De-loused”. Chaotic rhythms, wild melodies and intense lyrics all beautifully shaped in coherent songs by the great master himself, Rick Rubin, whose hidden band member role greatly induced the Volta that could be found in Rodriguez-Lopez/Bixler-Zavala duo.
